The piece is a sanctuary. It radiates such hope and confidence. May I ask for a piano tutorial on youtube for it? Thank you very much for this beautiful music!
It is relaxing and is a good level for me.
I am a BIG fan of Chad Lawson's piano compositions, and own several of his piano books. "Where We Are" has just taken its' place as my favorite (alongside "Breathe"). Highlights of "Where We Are" (for me at least): "The Hope of Her", with it's beautifully, slightly wistful and melancholic melody. It is unapologetically romantic, and is a delight to play.
"Like Stars in the Sky" has a lovely, very playable melody with a little bit of a more contemporary feel, while maintaining a timeless quality.
"Where Dreams Softly Sigh" truly does have a dreamlike quality, with some classical elements I absolutely love.
"Serenade in A minor" satisfies my craving for pure, unadulterated classical music. I love everything about this piece! Elements of the Romantuc period blended with a tiny bit of Baroque style finger work make me feel as if I'm playing something from long, long ago.
"Gentle" is heartbreaking in its simplicity and honesty. A testament to love and loss, beautifully communicated by the composer.
Well done, Mr. Lawson! Can't wait until your next body of work is released!

This is definitely Mr. Lawson’s finest book of music for the public to play at home. Easy to medium difficulty but worth learning each song. I play for myself at home though I use to play semi-professionally, and when I finish a piece from the book someone done the hall calls out “that was nice” or “I really enjoyed that”. Good work Mr. Lawson; I’m already waiting for the next book to be published 🙂
