This Privacy Policy describes how CHAD LAWSON MUSIC LLC ("Chad Lawson", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit, use or make a purchase from www.chadlawson.com (the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us.

By using the Site you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What we collect

- Name, email address, postal address, phone number and payment details when you place an order
- Your email address and name when you subscribe to the newsletter or the postcard mailing list
- The contents of any message you send through our contact form or by email
- Your name, email address and comment text when you comment on a Journal post
- Product reviews you choose to submit

We do not see or store your full payment card number. Card details are handled directly by Shopify's payment processing and its payment providers.

- Device and browser information, IP address, and general location derived from it
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site and session duration
- Cookies and similar technologies, including those set by the third parties listed in section 4

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as the cart and checkout, and for analytics and advertising. Essential cookies cannot be switched off. You can control other cookies through your browser settings, though blocking some may affect how the Site works.

6. Your rights

Global Privacy Control. Where the law requires it, we treat a GPC browser signal as a valid opt-out request.

7. How long we keep it
----------------------

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.

8. International transfers
--------------------------

We are based in the United States and our service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when. Material changes will be communicated where the law requires it.
